EDUC-761: Creating Collaborative Communities in E-Learning
EASyR Lesson
The acronym EASy, coined by Lehmann and Chamberlin, stands for evaluate, analyze, and synthesize.
"Evaluation is to gather information from a variety of sources and then determine the validity usefulness, and significance of the information."
"Analysis is to examine the information that has been gathered, comparing the various sources to pull out the most salient points."
"To synthesize is to impart a new outlook or new voice based on evaluation and analysis of other resources."
Later EASy became EASyR, by adding a review, revise, and reflect component.
Modeling a lesson in this design helped me to determine purpose in each element and make a careful consideration and selection.
