EDUC-763: Instructional Design for E-Learning
Course Components: Assessment
This course will use a variety of assessment techniques. Students will be traditionally assessed through online quizzes. There will be a question bank to randomize the questions students are working with. Students will be asked to explain their reasoning and show their understanding through their work. This will help promote academic honesty.
Students will also be assessed on their understanding of key vocabulary terms through their use of a blog. Students can upload graphics they create, sample problems, text, and other components that fits their learning style.
Students will be assessed on their understanding and communication of mathematical ideas through use of a discussion board. Students are able to develop their thought and grow with the content.
Lastly, two projects are included in the course to meet the needs of other learners. Students will create presentations of authentic work. Creativity is limitless and students can showcase their understanding in the way they feel most confident. This will benefit struggling learners as well as typical learners.
