EDUC-761:
Creating Collaborative Communities in E-Learning Learning Outcomes
|
Reflection
This was the final course leading up to the practicum experience. Creating community in an online environment is critical to the success of the learners. I was thankful for the different opportunities I had to serve as a facilitator and try out technologies that foster collaboration. Weekly large group and small group discussions allowed me to reflect on many different scenarios that could occur teaching in an online environment.
Course Artifacts
My Community Matrix shares how I would foster collaboration and community in an online course. EASyR is a lesson design technique. The page First Week includes communications that I would send to students as an orientation to the course. Journal includes my reflective thoughts from each week of the course. PLN stands for personal learning network and includes key resources I frequent. And lastly the Tip Sheet showcases a collaborative effort to create a tutorial for others.
